Representative Experience

  • Assisting in Negotiating Software Distribution Agreement
    Client is insurance clearinghouse providing desktop software to its clients to facilitate transactions. I worked to develop and negotiate a license for the software that addressed the needs of the client and addressed everyone's concerns.

  • Copyrighting Computer Code
    A computer software company was concerned that since its code was available as source code to its customers. I aided the client in filing the code with the US Copyright Office.

  • Drafting Non-Compete Agreements for Technology Businesses
    Business clients involved with technology issues needed agreements to protect intellectual property rights and to protect them from unfair competition by former contractors and employees. I have aided multiple companies in helping draft these agreements to meet their specific viewpoints concerning these issues, while protecting their interests.

  • Protecting Consultant's Future Business
    My client, a computer coding consultant with international recognition for his expertise, was contracted to provide high level services to a major software manufacturer. I negotiated the terms and conditions of his agreement (including non-compete and non disclosure agreements). I worked to ensure that he was fairly compensated and that his representation would not hamper his ability to compete against the company on future endeavors.
